A series of lectures, screenings & discussions celebrating the best in contemporary filmmaking & scholarship

The Oxford Palestine Film Season 2012

The Oxford Palestine Film Season brings together a selection of the brightest visions and most significant voices in Palestinian filmmaking and contemporary scholarship. Running over the course of October and November 2012 in various venues at Oxford University, the season presents a series of lectures, film screenings and discussions that seek to place directors, producers, scholars and audiences in dialogue.

Organised by three scholars with a passion for Palestinian cinema (Karim Mattar, Anna Ball and Mohamed-Salah Omri), the season is inspired not only by freedom of thought and expression, but also of access: all events are entirely free and open to the public.
